Educare Bream Bay
A new early childhood education centre for Educare in Ruakaka was required. Being built in the existing Ruakaka Village, this new Childcare building was required to fit in with the surrounding area, aesthetically matching existing buildings & allowing future buildings to fit between the New Childcare & existing buildings.
Designed by Mandeno Design, the exterior shell of the building is made up of precast panels, with structural steel allowing for maximisation of the open plan areas. Light + ventilation are key aspects to a successful learning environment, and this design creates two separate open plan areas on either side of the building.
We were contracted to provide structural steel fabrication and installation services – with elements of the structural steel being exposed in the open plan areas, requiring a high level of finishing.
